Hairdryer inspection standard

I Packaging inspection

1、 Cartons and gift boxes should be clean, tidy, correct, clearly marked; No moisture, deformation, dirty;

2、 The foam should be clean, correct sized,  and free from defects such as deformation, moisture, and damage;

3、 The production date is clear and correct;

4、Packing method should be reasonable and firm;

5、 The bar code of the color box should be clear and correct； 

6、 The machine packed should be correct and the same with description； Instruction should be correct and clearly printed.

II Product appearance and labels

1、 All stickers should be stuck in the correct position without blistering or warped edges。

2、The printing of all stickers should be clear , and the pattern, color should be clear and correct;

3、The product model, power, voltage and frequency should be correctly printed； 

4、 There should not be scratches, black spots, burrs, watermarks, stains and other defects; The color should be correct；

5、 Each part should be assembled firmly, and the clearance between each part should not exceed 1mm; The switch button should be flexible, The handle should be firmly assembled and the position is appropriate；

III Performance and electric strength test

1、 Hi-pot: AC 110/220V  3.1KV/1MIN  0.5mA；  

2、 Switch test: Switch should be able to work normally after turning On/OFF 10 times.  

3、 Power consumption test: Under rated voltage. The measured power deviation should be less +5% ~ -10% of the rated power;  

4、 Start test: start from the low setting, the machine should start immediately after the switch is trigged；  

5、 Air blocking test (to prevent fan stalling):  

1. Block the air intake with a plastic bag (or dry cloth) until the thermostat is activated. Should be able to work normally after cooling (thermostat reset)；
2. Block the air inlet with a plastic bag (or dry cloth), and the temperature control switch should not jump for 1-3 seconds (the temperature control switch should not be too sensitive);
3. The heating wire cannot be broken during the wind blocking test. The plastic shell should not have obvious deformation or melting. The switch works normally (the fan works normally). The fuse is allowed to break in some cases, but it should work normally after replacing the fuse.

6、 Electric heating wire test: Under normal operation, the heating wire should not be obviously glowing (blocked for 1-2 seconds). Work at 115% of the rated power, should work normally for at least 30 minutes or more. Thermostat should not be activated, plastic shell is not deformed  

7、 Noise test: The distance from the hair dryer 30CM, the noise should be less than 86dB(or 50CM≤82dB);  

8、 Life test: At least 200 hours of continuous operation under normal voltage (factory standard). During the 4-6 hour aging test, the power cord should not be obviously hot, the plastic should not be deformed, and the protection switch should not jump (except in special cases);  

9、 Cold air test: 

1. After 30 minutes of normal operation (maximum power), press the cold air switch (COOL), and the cold air blowing out soon (hand sensing test).
2. Reverse the hair dryer (fan) close to the hair, at maximum power, the fan should not suck the hair into the mesh cover.  

10、Hot air test:      

1. After 15 minutes running, put your hand at 10CM away from the hair dryer, and should not feel obvious hot (1-3 seconds).
2. Should not smell burning when blowing your hair (3-5 seconds)

11、Drop test:      

1. The single machine falls freely on the cement floor (or wood floor) at 75CM(or 100CM). Should not appear broken into pieces, cracking, internal parts loose, mesh cover off (except for decoration) phenomenon. All switches work properly;
2. Each side of the hair dryer (front, back and side three sides) is 15CM away from the table and knocks three times each. Should not appear from the shell, shell cracking, internal loose, mesh cover off (except for decoration) phenomenon. All switches work properly;

12、 Power cord test: Pull the power cord with 15 KG (KG) force, it should not be loose or disconnected, the power is normal, there is no bad contact phenomenon, and the core wire should not be exposed under any circumstances. The power cable core is consistent with the output power； 

13、Appearance test (visual inspection): All switches operate flexibly, without getting stuck or scraping. No burr, scratch, crack, loose and other appearance. Heating wire should not be too close to the net cover;

※Technical parameter: 105℃ thermostat should not be activated; 128℃ thermostat should be trigged (hair dryer does not work, after cooling the switch reset, and can work normally. Tolerance ±3℃ deviation); 140℃ fuse blown; Voltage operating range: ±10%(under normal circumstances); Power range: +5%, -10%(normal voltage).
